The Huskers don't have a prayer covering this game unless Joe Daley plays. Jamal Lord is not a very good quarterback. I will be at the game this week and I can tell you if Jamal throws the ball it will make you all sick to your stomach. Hope and pray Joe Daley plays. If he plays the Huskers cover, but Jamal will sink the ship and the spread.

Let's remember they're facing the PSU secondary...

Week 1: gives up 195 yards passing to temple, no picks.

Week 2: Only gives up 145 pass yds to BC, but 2 TDs and 1 pick. Also must note that BC only through the ball 22 times ( 10 completions) becuase they were up early and the rush was effective.

PSU secondary has been very weak, and though Lord is not a great passer, he should be able to get to the ball to his receivers.

I see an easy cover for Nebraska

Can Penn St. stop Nebraska's running game? Penn St. is giving up 200 yds/game and 4.7/yds/carry on the ground.

Nebraska is still somewhat overated.

D looks improved and good so far.

O looks medicore and very one dimensional. Lord is only serious threat. Run O not as overpowering as in years past.

Good spot for them here though;

PSU is nowhere near the same team. No one would be after losing so many NFL high draft choices. They were outgained at home by Temple who just lost at home to Vilanova. Also QB Mills shoulder is still hurting from an injury last year that seems to be affecting his play.

Night game, national tv audience, strong home field plus revenge factor going for Huskers here.

But that mediocre one dimensional offence may make it interesting for the cover.

I really like Nebraska in this spot but Jamal Lord scares me. He is horrible. Every time he throws the ball, he has no idea where it's going. The only ones who know where it's going are the defensive backs because he stands there and stares at the receiver before he tries to throw into double coverage.

I played Nebraska here but would have stepped up the play if they had a real QB. I think this is an easy victory for Nebraska as I can't see Penn St scoring more than 10 points in this game.

Penn State rush D is horrible. I think Jamal Lord can get it done.

remember last years game? The ass kicking Penn St. gave Nebraska. I think Nebraska will come out a little extra fired up about this one. I see Nebraska covering no matter who is at quarterback.
